Chilli Turkey Mince with Lucy Bee Turmeric

  • 15-20g ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1 red chilli, deseeded and chopped
  • 20g Lucy Bee Coconut Oil
  • 1 red onion, peeled and chopped
  • ½ yellow, red and green pepper, chopped
  • 1 tsp. Lucy Bee Turmeric Powder
  • 500g turkey mince
  • Chopped coriander to stir in


  1. In a small food processor blitz together ginger, garlic and chilli.
  2. Add the Lucy Bee Coconut Oil to a heavy based frying pan and sauté the onion and peppers, until soft.
  3. Add the blitzed ingredients to the frying pan and cook for a minute before stirring in the Lucy Bee Turmeric Powder.
  4. Add the turkey mince to the pan and cook, you will need to keep stirring and breaking the lumps up, cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Stir in chopped coriander.
  6. The mixture will last in the fridge for 3 to 4 days.
  8. Spoon a small amount of mixture into a little gem lettuce leaf and serve as an appetizer or with a salad.
  9. Spiralise courgette and carrots, lightly stir fry for 2 minutes and serve with the chilli turkey mince.
  10. Mix in with a chopped salad and eat cold.
