Smoked Sticky Marinade for Fish, Meats and Sweet Potato

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. Lucy Bee Coconut Sugar
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely grated
  • A pinch of Lucy Bee Whole Black Peppercorns, ground
  • 1 level tsp. smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp. dried thyme
  • 1-2 tbsp. Lucy Bee Coconut Oil, melted

Method

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a small bowl. This will make an incredibly thick paste, so it is recommended to add the Lucy Bee Coconut Oil to the paste to help loosen it – this is best done just before adding onto the meat or fish of choice.
  2. You can use this as a marinade or you can put it straight on your food just before cooking, it will get sticky and soften when heated, so move it around the meat to help disperse the flavours.
  3. This is a great marinade paste for salmon, red meat, sweet potato, ribs and peaches.
