As a CIBTAC qualified beauty therapist, I’ve always been interested in using the best products in my beauty regime and this, coupled with my interest in general wellbeing, fuelled my passion to create a natural and organic skincare range.
This has been two years in the making and I’m really excited to now share this with you. The entire range is:
The skincare range is available on the Lucy Bee Shop and includes:
Made in the UK, we wanted the range to reflect our ethical ethos and passion for natural products, so each of these is:
The skin is our largest organ, so we should look after it with natural, effective products, which is why we use our own ingredients:
Lucy Bee Coconut Oil – this helps to soothe, nourish and soften the skin. It’s a really hydrating oil that is antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral so it can really help with damaged skin such as cuts and open wounds
Lucy Bee Coconut Sugar – this helps to naturally exfoliate the skin
Lucy Bee Dead Sea Salt – this helps to exfoliate and detoxify the skin by removing dead skin cells
Lucy Bee Turmeric – this is recognised for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and radiance-boosting properties
Lucy Bee Cacao – acts as an antioxidant which protects and repairs the skin from damage and premature ageing
Lucy Bee Cinnamon - is a natural microdermabrasion which softens the skin
We’ve kept the range as natural as can be and we can proudly say that we do not use palm oil at all, in any of our products.
There’s hardly a day that goes by without reading in the press about deforestation for palm oil production and the fact that the very existence of orangutans is threatened because of this.
We choose not to use palm oil in our skincare range, even sustainable palm oil, due to its negative impact on the environment, habitat, animals and eco-systems. Instead, we use our own Coconut Oil.
Lucy Bee Coconut Oil is organic and the coconuts grow in agroforestry, a natural environment working in harmony with and supporting nature. Our Coconut Oil is also Fair Trade, with a guarantee that monkeys are not used to pick the coconuts.
