'Add a large teaspoon of coconut oil to some warm water in a foot bath and let the oil soak into your feet.'
Here at Lucy Bee, we see coconut oil as a one-stop solution to all our skin and beauty needs. Whilst we love to massage it into our faces at night for the perfect anti-wrinkle cream, or rub into the scalp for an intensive hair conditioner, did you know that it also works wonders on feet and toes?
Too often, we tend to neglect our feet which leaves the skin tough, dry and anything but pretty. However, if, like us, you want to show off those feet, especially come summer time, then it's essential to start looking after them and giving them the TLC they deserve.
Lucy Bee Coconut Oil makes for a fantastic foot and toe treatment and will leave your tootsies as soft as a baby's in no time at all. Thanks to those medium-chain fatty acids that we like to talk about so much, coconut oil helps to retain the moisture content of the body.

Sit down and relax, then generously apply coconut oil to the foot area. Wrap it loosely with cling film or warm towels, then leave for as long as possible, although we recommend sleeping that way (we won't laugh - promise!) and leaving overnight.
You may need to repeat this process until the condition improves but we’re confident you'll see results - your feet will never have looked so soft.
Another way to reap the benefits is to add a large teaspoon of coconut oil to some warm water in a footbath and let the oil soak into your feet, whilst you chill out with a book or magazine.
Gently pat your feet dry with a towel, then stroke your skin and see just how smooth and hydrated everything feels. If you want to feel even better, you could even soak your hands in the same way!
Alternatively, you can pep up those tootsies with a DIY coconut sugar scrub. Your feet will never have felt so smooth, nor smelt so delicious. In fact, this fast and easy recipe is perfect for ensuring your toes are ready to show off in your favourite shoes, or come the summer! To try it out yourself, here's our favourite foot scrub recipe:
1) Using your hands, combine all the ingredients until mixed together. Spoon into an airtight container until ready to use, then massage into your feet (and legs) while in the bath before rinsing and towelling down.
